Funny word, serious business this component. The word scupper originated ships at sea and is a hole in the side of the vessel to “carry water overboard from the deck”. In roofing, the application is much the same. Water will flow off the roof through this hole and down to the ground by way of a collector (splash) box and a downspout. These components are made and installed in to the roofing system in a critical manner. Malachi Consulting makes all of our scuppers precisely to the building configuration so you will never have to worry about your “ship” (building) taking on water inside.
